3名AIIC口譯員遇難
國際會議口譯員協(xié)會(AIIC)于3月10日在官網(wǎng)確認(rèn)，共有三名AIIC會員在埃塞俄比亞飛機墜毀事件中遇難。
AIIC官網(wǎng)寫道：

19名聯(lián)合國職員遇難
According to the UN Department of Safety and Security in Kenya, 19 UN staff perished in the crash. The World Food Programme (WFP) lost seven staff, the Office of the High Commissioner on Refugees (UNHCR) lost two, as did the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Sudan, World Bank and UN Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) each lost one staff member. Six staff from the UN Office in Nairobi (UNON) were also tragically killed.

機上有8名中國公民
外交部領(lǐng)事保護中心11日消息，埃航失事客機上8名遇難中國公民身份初步確認(rèn)，4人為中國公司員工，2人為聯(lián)合國系統(tǒng)國際職員(包括1名香港居民)，另2人分別來自遼寧和浙江，為因私出行。
3月10日，外交部發(fā)言人陸慷就埃塞俄比亞航空客機失事答記者問，再次證實這一消息。

A: According to information released by the Ethiopian Airlines, on the morning of March 10 local time, an Ethiopian Airlines flight crashed soon after taking off from Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia en route to Nairobi, capital of Kenya, killing all 149 passengers and eight crew members aboard.

After learning the incident, the Foreign Ministry immediately instructed the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia to activate emergency mechanism and contact the Ethiopian government and Ethiopian Airlines to gather more information. It has been verified that there were eight Chinese citizens on board, including one from the Hong Kong SAR. We express our deep condolences to the victims and sincere sympathy to the bereaved families.

中國暫停波音飛機運行
據(jù)《紐約時報》報道，事故發(fā)生后，中國成為首個暫停波音737-8飛機商業(yè)運行的國家(ground all of the country’s 96 aircraft in operation)。
China’s Civil Aviation Administration was first to order its airlines on Monday morning to ground all of the country’s 96 aircraft in operation.
中國民航局率先要求各中國航空公司于周日早晨起暫停運行波音737-8飛機。
The Chinese aviation regulator said in its announcement that it had notified Chinese air carriers they had until 6 p.m. local time to take the planes out of service.

Ethiopian Airlines, which operated the flight on Sunday, later followed.
